Local audio converter for MP3, FLAC, WAV, and OGG

Use Audio Converter to convert audio files directly in your browser without uploading them to a server.

Your audio stays on your device. OnMyTimer only provides the static page, while decoding and encoding use your browser and device resources.

Input support depends on your browser and can include WAV, MP3, FLAC, OGG Vorbis, Opus, M4A, and AAC. WAV input also has a local parser fallback.

Output support in v1 includes WAV, MP3, FLAC, and OGG Vorbis through dedicated local encoders.

Large or long audio files may be slower on phones because all processing happens locally. AAC/M4A output, WMA, ALAC, AIFF, APE, DRM files, video files, and audio editing are not included in v1.

  3. Adjust bitrate, quality, compression, or sample rate when the selected format supports it.
  4. Convert the current file or batch convert all loaded files in your browser.
  5. Download each converted result directly from your device.

Audio Converter FAQ

Are my audio files uploaded to OnMyTimer?

No. Files are decoded and encoded in your browser. The site serves the page and encoder files, but your audio file is not uploaded for conversion.

Which audio formats can I convert?

Output formats in v1 are WAV, MP3, FLAC, and OGG Vorbis. Input formats depend on browser decoding support and can include WAV, MP3, FLAC, OGG, Opus, M4A, and AAC.

Can I convert WAV to MP3 or FLAC?

Yes. WAV input has a local parser fallback, and you can export WAV files to MP3, FLAC, OGG Vorbis, or WAV when your browser has enough memory for the file.

Why can a large audio file be slow on mobile?

All processing uses your device CPU and memory. Long files or high sample rates may take longer on phones than on desktop computers.
